GIANT SELL OUT WEEK FOR DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT, VARIANT EDITIONS OFFERED TO FILL REORDERS
Limited Edition Variants Available for Reorder on Sold Out Dynamite Titles: Army of Darkness #13, Battlestar Galactica #4 and Battlestar Galactica: Zarek #1

January 3 2007, Runnemede, NJ – DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT announced today that the initial print runs for Army of Darkness #13, which features the lead-in to the upcoming Marvel Zombies vs, Army of Darkness limited series, New Battlestar Galactica #4 and Battlestar Galactica: Zarek #1 have sold out at the distributor level (Diamond Comic Distributors), and that limited edition variants for all three titles are scheduled to fill standing orders.

The limited edition cover for Army of Darkness #13 features a variation of the original Sean (Marvel Zombies) Phillips cover. The limited edition cover for New Battlestar Galactica #4 will feature a special black and white variation of the E-Bas cover. And the cover for Battlestar Galactica: Zarek #1 is available with a variation of the Stjepan Sejic cover.

Dynamite created these limited edition variant covers while still receiving heavy orders for the initial releases and anticipates selling out of these limited edition variants, as well. The covers will allow retailers to have new 1st print variant editions available for sell to fans.  It is suggested that retailers adjust their orders for upcoming issues of these titles.

Prior to the release of Army of Darkness #13, Dynamite released a preview of the surprise ending, giving fans a sneak peek at Ash’s welcoming committee to the Marvel Universe with a special page drawn in Marvel Zombie tradition by Sean Phillips with colorist June Chung!  AOD #13 leads in to the Marvel Zombies Vs. The Army of Darkness ("covered" by Arthur Suydam, John Layman, Faniano Neves and June Chung!) The limited edition variant of the Sean Phillips cover is available for reorder: ARMY OF DARKNESS #13 (NOV068185).

With SCI FI’s new Battlestar Galactica continuing to excite fans new and old, Dynamite’s New Battlestar Galactica #4 sold out prior to shipping. The limited edition variant cover for New Battlestar Galactica #4 is a black and white variation of the E-Bas cover.
