“Lost” and “Medium” Writer/Producer Takes on Classic BSG Cylons for Dynamite

December 06, 2006, Runnemede, NJ – DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT today released images and information announcing the debut issue for the first Battlestar Galactica mini-series event Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Apocalypse! This exciting all-new BSG adventure is written by the successful writer/producer of “Lost” and “Medium” Javier Grillo-Maruach with art by Battlestar veteran Carlos Rafael. Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Apocalypse is scheduled for a February release.

Dynamite stated, “Battlestar buffs have been asking for more Starbuck, Apollo and the original crew for over twenty-five years. Our ongoing Classic BSG series has brought the original crew back to the fans and into the sci-fi mainstream, and now our first spin-off mini-series event is really going to get things fraking started in a big way. Written by none other than the television writer and producer Javier Grillo-Maruach- if you don’t recognize the name, you most certainly know his work on hit shows like “Lost” and “Medium”. The Classic Battlestar era is a great arena for a creative talent like Javier to have some fun and tell an innovative and imaginative adventure.
