Default Wheel of Time

I was wondering if anyone knew whether the "Eye of the World" or "New Spring" comics are coming over as well from Dabel.

I sure hope they are, Chuck Dixon seems sure they are. On his personal forums he posted as much. Saying he was getting back to work on the series soon.

I found it kind of odd that a couple weeks ago in the mail I recieved issue #1 of the Wheel of Time and then last night I recieved issue #8.....

I don't know if this was mailed to me by mistake or if this was meant to actually be correct and they are going to do something strange with the numbering....?

The #8 you received was for the New Spring series, wasn't it? I thought that was strange, too, but a little Googling solved the puzzle:

So now I'm left with a #8 for a series whose first 7 issues were not published by Dynamite and will probably be nigh impossible to locate. Eenteresting...

A collected trade for the New Spring series will be released in January www.Amazon.com has it listed for preorder. As with the current WoT comic it was adapted by Chuck Dixon and the first 7 issues had art by Mike S. Miller. The first 5 issues were produced by Red Eagle Entertainment, issues 6 and 7 by Dabel Brothers Publications, and Dynamite finished the series with the #8.

The Eye Of The World series will have 35 or 36 issues total and be collected in 6 trades each one containing 6 issues. At least that was the original plan I don't know if that's the way it will still happen now that Dynamite has it.
